Hurricane Sandy hit Long Island with a fury, our little town was completely submerged, these photos are the day after, after the water receded. full moon high tide brought the water level over 4ft, even higher in some areas, covered from all sides…. so many stories, so many of our friends and fellow community members displaced, loss everywhere you look, and almost 2 1/2 weeks later still no power, gas or heat…. we’re hanging in there though- keep us in your thoughts…..
