You can call this magical handmade book an art journal, grimoire, tome, or whatever title/name you connect with! The front cover is created from beautiful upcycled fabric and embroidery and adorned with one of my handstitched fabric diamonds. The back cover is covered with a vintage hand-embroidered linen fragment painted metallic gold. The inner covers are hand-painted and hold an inside pocket for keeping notes, photos, poetry, etc….
The cover of the first signature is a repurposed print of a photograph I took of the hands of a bronze statue of Buddha. This covers a set of blank sketch papers with a few old dot matrix lined papers thrown in for nostalgia.
The second/inner signature is a collection of some of my retired art prints painted and primed for reuse 🙂 This heavy weight paper is perfect for wet or dry media.
The third/last signature is a repeat of the first signature with the second half of the art print covering a group of sketch papers. You can view it in the shop here.
